STARK RELIEF- TWO CLASSES: ONE ARTIST BOOK

As part of the Kaleidoscope Arts Festival, “Stark Relief,” a collaborative book project between pairs of art and creative writing students, will set up shop in Bailey Library. Sponsored by the SRU Art and English departments, “Stark Relief” is a one-of-a-kind exhibit that features original woodblock prints from Theresa Antonellis’ Printmaking Workshop accompanied by writing from Dr. Mark O’Connor’s Graphic Novel class.
In addition to the exhibit, individual prints will be gathered into a single book, hand bound with silk using centuries-old Japanese bookbinding techniques.
