In the Forest, She Grew Fangs, by Stephen Spotswood

October 21, 2017 @ 7:30 pm - 8:30 pm

In the Forest, She Grew Fangs, by Stephen Spotswood and directed by Laura Smiley, is the story of Lucy who spends her days being tormented and mocked, ghosting through the halls of her high school. At 16, she’s come to believe her life will never get better. A bloody deconstruction of Little Red Riding Hood, the play takes the familiar elements of werewolves, teen lust, and high school bullies, experimenting with the question of just who’s the victim and who’s the monster.
The show runs October 20-26 with performances at 7:30pm on October 20-21 and 23-26 with a 2pm matiness on October 22.

Tickets can be purchased at the Smith Center Information Desk anytime; online at https://sru.secure.force.com/ticket; and 1 hour before any performance at the University Union MPR box office.
